With Santa dropping in to check on our progress and plenty of surprises along the route, this is your chance to sip, smile, and become a certified Merry Maker.

Looking for an exciting experience to treat your team to? We’re now offering discounted group rates for our 8:30 pm “Santa’s Nightcap” for groups of 15 or more people (group discount available on Thursdays only in coach seating for November dates). Groups are still welcome to reserve for any dates, however no discounts will be applied for other dates.

COACH CAR
Our standard coaches offer traditional rail seating in groups of four, and every passenger gets a special holiday gift.
LOUNGE CAR
This car features soft, upholstered chairs in spacious surroundings, and an additional extra special holiday gift!

Your journey begins at the WCR Farmers’ Market Station located at 330 Farmers Market Road between the St. Jacobs Farmers Market and the Value Village Shopping Centre. Please note there is no public boarding or parking at our St. Jacobs Village (Isabella St.) location.

Free Parking is available in the Value Village parking lot located off Farmers Market Road which is adjacent to our station platform. 330 Farmers Market Road Waterloo, Ontario N2J 4G8.

Washrooms are available aboard the train, as well as a baby changing station located in Car 5.

There are no refunds unless the WCR cancels a train. Missed trains or bad weather will not be refunded.

- Wear your Christmas PJ’s and/or “ugly Christmas sweaters”!
- Photo ID (this is a 19+ experience)
- No food or drink (except bottled water) is permitted to be brought onto the train. We encourage the use of reusable water bottles. Please help keep our trains clean by disposing of your water bottles after use

- Seating is limited.
- Upon purchasing your tickets, you’ll be assigned a train car number, but specific seats are not assigned. While we’ll do our best to seat your party together, this cannot be guaranteed due to capacity limits and the design of our heritage train cars. Large groups may be boarded first.
- WCR will make every effort to seat larger parties together, however due to the nature of our seating it cannot be guaranteed.

Please be advised that our train cars are not currently fully accessible for those with considerable mobility challenges. However, we are actively working on improvements to enhance accessibility in the near future. In the meantime, our trainmen are stationed at all doors and are ready to assist with boarding and disembarking to ensure everyone can travel comfortably and safely.
