Everyone’s favourite way to get the the festival is back! Hop aboard our commuter rail service for this year’s Elmira Maple Syrup Festival. Skip the traffic and ride the train to the festival!

Train Timing:
- Northbound Northfield ION: 6:00am, 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm
- Northbound Market: 6:10 am, 8:10 am, 10:10 am, 12:10 pm
- Arrive Elmira: 6:50 am, 8:50 am, 10:50 am, 12:50 pm
- Southbound Elmira: 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, 4:00 pm
- Please note we recommend you take the following return times:
6:00am (please return on the 9:00am southbound train)
8:00am (please return on the 11:00am southbound train)
10:00am (please return on the 1:30pm southbound train)
12:00pm (please return on the 4:00pm southbound train)
If you choose to take a later southbound train, we cannot guarantee seating and there may be standing room only.
What’s included

- Free parking at the Farmers’ Market Station (330 Farmers Market Road, Waterloo)

- Guests can come back on any of the return trips. Please note the 4pm Southbound Elmira departure is likely to be very busy and there may be standing room only. If possible, please return on an earlier train (9:00am, 11:00am or 1:30pm)
- Strollers must be folded (if possible) to be transported on the train. Strollers will be stored in a separate coach. Volunteers will be onsite to assist with stroller boarding.

No food or drink (except bottled water-reusable bottles encouraged) permitted to be brought onto the train. Please help keep our trains clean by disposing of your water bottles after use or taking them home and recycling them.

- All sales are final. There are no refunds on ticket purchases. Customers will receive a full refund if the operator cancels service due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
- All ticket sales must be purchased online prior to boarding the train. All ticket sales will remain live online until train departure time. There are no sales on the train at this time.
- All trains depart at the specified time – please arrive at least 10 minutes early for all trains. There are no refunds for missed trains
- We do not offer senior discounts or accept coupons of any type at this time or Access 2 Cards.
- Unfortunately, the WCR does not permit pets to travel on the train with the exception of guide, support and comfort dogs. For further details on booking a train trip with either, please see our Accessibility information further in the section.
- Due to the heritage nature of our rail equipment we reserve the right to substitute rail equipment without prior notification due to operational requirements.
